Bladder Kits

ITL BioMedical's Bladder Kit is an easy-to-use device that, when used in conjunction with other medical devices, helps facilitate the accurate measurement of abdominal pressure using the modified Kron technique. Bladder kits are also used to measure intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH), which can cause significant morbidity and mortality due to reduced venous return, cardiac output, and altered respiratory mechanics. This kit integrates seamlessly with urinary catheters and any standard pressure monitoring transducer to provide precise pressure readings, crucial for managing critical care, trauma, or post-surgery patients. Monitoring intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) and abdominal perfusion pressure (APP) for signs of abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) is an inexpensive and useful diagnostic tool for identifying complications.
