The Zephyr vascular compression device offers superior patient comfort while achieving effective patent radial haemostasis. All Zephyr models are easily adjustable to facilitate patent haemostasis in the radial artery, helping to avoid post-procedure chronic radial artery occlusion1. The clear radial balloon provides excellent visibility for easy positioning and monitoring, simplifying the process of achieving patent haemostasis.
The Zephyr Model 9200 Device has two easily inflatable compression balloons, one for the radial artery and one for the ulnar artery. By compressing the ulnar artery along with radial artery compression, the Model 9200 reduces distal resistance to radial blood flow. This can help enhance antegrade radial blood flow during vascular compression to facilitate patent haemostasis, which has been shown to help avoid post-procedure chronic radial artery occlusion1.
