ITL BioMedical has a range of percutaneous introducers which are uniquely designed based on a micro-puncture platform. They are designed to allow insertion of the introducer utilising micro-puncture technology rather than using a micro-puncture set for access then inserting an introducer after gaining access.
The guidewire is available in stainless steel or nitinol with seamless wire transition to the radiopaque tip. Its floppy tip construction provides flexibility during placement. The smooth trans co-axial introducer is available in two styles: standard (red locking nut), a co-axial introducer with a smooth transition from inner dilator to outer sheath; and stiff (white locking nut), a co-axial introducer.
The UltraSharp Needle is bevelled, which reduces drag and eases insertion and is available with or without echogenic tip.
