Thumbnail Filmstrip of Wrist Stabilisation Images
The mBrace (40° angle) and WristAssist (30° angle) wrist stabilisation devices extend and stabilise the wrist at a consistent during vascular access procedures, such as arterial line insertions and cardiac catheterizations using the radial artery or vein.
This precision stabilization system prevents patients from flexing their wrist during extended arterial line deployments, ensuring trouble-free line insertions and maintaining the integrity of the line for extended invasive monitoring. The flat front edge helps to prevent rolling and provides a stable platform to support the wrist. The soft fabric wicks away moisture, offering comfort for longer deployments, while the foam pad adjusts the angle of extension and cushions IV lines on the dorsal surface of the hand or wrist. Straps adjust easily to fit virtually any hand size, making these devices a versatile and reliable choice for stabilising the patient’s wrist during radial haemostasis procedures.
